1. INTRODUCTION
Local Lens Content LLC ("Local Lens," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on the Local Lens platform ("Platform") accessible at locallenscontent.com. This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, what types of cookies we use, why we use them, and how you can manage your cookie preferences.
This Cookie Policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy at locallenscontent.com/legal/privacy and our Platform Terms of Service at locallenscontent.com/legal/terms, both of which are incorporated herein by reference.
By continuing to use the Platform after being presented with our cookie consent banner, you consent to our use of non-essential cookies as described in this Cookie Policy. You may withdraw your consent at any time as described in Section 6 of this Policy.
2. WHAT ARE COOKIES
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device — computer, smartphone, or tablet — when you visit a website or use a web application. Cookies are widely used to make websites and applications work efficiently, remember your preferences, and provide information to the site owner.
Cookies set by the website or application you are visiting are called "first-party cookies." Cookies set by parties other than the website you are visiting are called "third-party cookies." Third-party cookies may be used for tracking, analytics, or advertising purposes across multiple websites.
In addition to cookies, we may use similar tracking technologies including:
- Web Beacons: Small transparent image files embedded in web pages or emails that help us understand user behavior and email engagement.
- Local Storage: Browser-based storage used to save certain preferences and session information locally on your device.
- Session Storage: Temporary browser storage that holds information only for the duration of your browser session and is cleared when you close your browser.
- Pixels: Code snippets embedded in web pages that track user interactions and conversions.
3. COOKIES WE USE
We use the following categories of cookies on the Platform:
3.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are essential for the Platform to function correctly. Without these cookies certain features of the Platform — including logging in, accessing your dashboard, and submitting forms — would not work. These cookies do not require your consent and cannot be disabled through our cookie preferences tool.
| Cookie Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| sb-access-token | Supabase | Authenticates your session and keeps you logged in to your Account | Session |
| sb-refresh-token | Supabase | Refreshes your authentication token to maintain your logged-in session | 1 year |

| cookie_consent | Local Lens | Stores your cookie consent preferences | 1 year |
Legal basis: These cookies are strictly necessary for the performance of a contract with you and for our legitimate interests in operating a secure platform.
3.2 Analytics and Performance Cookies
These cookies help us understand how visitors interact with the Platform — which pages are visited most often, how users navigate between pages, and where errors occur. This information helps us improve the Platform's performance and user experience. All data collected by analytics cookies is aggregated and anonymized where possible.
These cookies require your consent.
| Cookie Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics | Distinguishes unique users for traffic analysis | 2 years |
| ga[ID] | Google Analytics | Stores session state and campaign data | 2 years |
[NOTE: source table had several blank rows after these two entries — likely placeholder rows for the user to fill in with their own analytics tools.]
If you have not enabled analytics tools on your Local Lens platform, these cookies may not be present. Update this table to reflect only the analytics tools you have actually installed.
Legal basis: Your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
3.3 Functional Cookies
Functional cookies enable the Platform to provide enhanced functionality and personalization. They may be set by us or by third-party providers whose services we have added to the Platform. If you disable these cookies some or all of these features may not function correctly.
These cookies require your consent.
| Cookie Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |

5. DO NOT TRACK
Some browsers include a "Do Not Track" (DNT) feature that signals websites not to track your browsing activity. Currently there is no universally accepted standard for how websites should respond to DNT signals. At this time the Platform does not respond to browser DNT signals. We will revisit this position if a standard is established.
California residents may also use the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal to opt out of certain data sharing. We honor GPC signals to the extent required by California law.

You have several options for managing your cookie preferences:
6.1 Cookie Preferences Tool

Changes to your preferences take effect immediately. Please note that disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of the Platform.

- View cookies that have been set on your device

7. CONSEQUENCES OF DISABLING COOKIES
If you choose to disable or block certain categories of cookies please be aware of the following consequences:
Strictly Necessary Cookies Disabled: You will not be able to log in to your Account or access any authenticated features of the Platform. The Platform will not function correctly.
Analytics Cookies Disabled: We will not be able to track your usage of the Platform for improvement purposes. This will not affect your ability to use the Platform but may mean we are slower to identify and fix issues you experience.
Functional Cookies Disabled: Your preferences and settings may not be saved between sessions. You may need to re-enter certain preferences each time you visit the Platform.
Third-Party Service Cookies Disabled: Payment processing through Stripe requires Stripe's security cookies. Disabling these may prevent you from completing payments on the Platform.
